British Folk Art - Tate Britain

With a small budget and a high attendance target, the challenge to attract visitors to this new, quirky exhibition was a big one.

Using the DIY element found in folk art as a springboard, I developed a new partnership with Etsy to connect this timely exhibition with the UK’s craft community. The partnership included a pop-up event at London’s Field Day festival where thousands of gig-goers visited Tate’s quirky tent. Inside, Etsy’s best makers hosted creative workshops which encouraged audiences to make their own folk art for free.
