
An award winning activation that changed customer perceptions of Tate, Tate Weather was a fun, dynamic and hyper-targeted campaign that translated Tate’s already popular Friday forecast from our social accounts into the real world. Tate Weather consisted of bi-weekly weather bulletins tailored specifically to 19 stations around London throughout the autumn and winter.
Each forecast combined multiple different data sets with corresponding weather images from Tate’s collection, so that accurate forecasts reflected the conditions outside. Each live update was projected on the platforms of London Underground stations and across dynamic placements throughout the city.
Following huge success, the campaign format was rolled out to tourists, commuters and shoppers with bespoke messaging. The video below shows this expansion.
